MLM Opportunity, questions to ask before you join. Do not get swept up by the Teams excitement they need prospects to join and qualifying you is their goal.
What does it take to qualify? The right mind set, do you believe in the companies opportunity, are you willing to go out and prospect for customers and your own down-line? You just have to be interested in the program and its possibilities.
Is the MLM Opportunity you are looking at a legal business? Or is it a pyramid scheme?
Definition of pyramid scheme in MLM - When a company pays you a commission for signing up prospects, and does not have the products to sustain the business it is a scheme or scam.
If you are paid a commission for each prospect you sign up and that is all the company is interested in it is not a legitimate business. A company has to have a sustainable business, either products or services they sale. There has to be retail sales to non IBO customers. No Products, No Services, No Business.
If you look at almost any company you will find a pyramid with the owner at the top. The employees get more numerous on the way down. Our government is a pyramid also. There is always one top guy, the 2 or 3 chosen generals then the troops.
A pyramid structure is not illegal it becomes illegal when the pay structure is the pyramid. With out something to generate a cash flow and sustain it you do not have a business. It is fraud.
How to Evaluate a Plan
1. How long has the company been in business?
2. What Country is its home base?
3. What is its track record?
4. Is it a publicly held company?
5. What products do they sell?
6. Who manufactures the products?
7. Are they safe?
8. How does the company back the products?
9. Are they priced competitively?
10. Is there a "Brick and Motor" address you can visit?
11. What is your up front fee to join?
12. What is included in with this fee?
13. Are there any other expenses to get started?
14. Is there a mandatory purchase level required?
15. What is the pay structure?
Know the answers to all of these questions before signing up for any MLM Opportunity.
Try a few of the products, most companies have samples available for their IBO's to purchase and give out.
Ask the IBO sponsoring you for their website address and look at everything there. You should find a link on the site that takes you to the companies home page.
You should find answers to your questions there also, and they should be the same as what the "Team" has been saying.
