Retirement is the next stage of life for us and "it ain't what it use to be" As Baby Boomers changing how we live is only natural, this time our concept for the coming second half of life is extremely different than our parents was.

My site goal is to help you achieve the lifestyle you desire.

If you were born between 1946 - 1966 this is your retirement information site. We said, "We'd never grow old" and we have definitely changed the worlds perception on "old". We are mid-lifers 42 - 62 years young, not senior citizens.

We were not satisfied with life as it was in the 1960's and have continued changing things as we have moved through life.

We are now entering the 2nd phase of life and reinventing it. We are staying active, continuing to work at least part time or starting a business that will provide an income to support the life we wish to live.

I have spent the last few years searching for the same answers you are seeking. I could not find a website that truly covered the changes Boomers were faced with, so I decided I would correct the situation and started The-Retirement-Road-Map.com.

This site will grow over time, there just isn't a way for me to put up nearly 300 pages or more all at once. I can manage a few pages a week with my goal being 1 page per day. That being said ......

My goal is to present the highest level of information to help you make informed decisions about your future.

Financial concerns are foremost in every ones mind now and I have found a way to earn income with out having to go to a job. I do not have to be at any certain place to run this business either.

I can travel where ever I want and it keeps on earning an income for me. I think it is called Freedom.

I feel the Internet address/Domain name is appropriate due to

the numerous dead in streets, long detours, dangerous curves and rock slides that need to be avoided in order to reach the desired destination.
